Within the program of support of micro, small and medium enterprises in Ukraine through the instrument of state guarantees on the portfolio basis from December 2020, banks issued 12,729 loans for the total amount of UAH 39.830 billion.
As of June 1, 2022, 24 lending banks are servicing 12,592 loans worth UAH 34.415 billion.
Liabilities on principal debt partially secured by state guarantees on a portfolio basis amounted to UAH 25.468 billion. It is about 73% of the total limit of guarantees in 2020 (UAH 35.014 billion).
At the same time in May this year, 4,074 loans totaling UAH 15.269 billion were issued with a state guarantee of UAH 11.090 billion.
JSC "Privatbank" is the leader in the number of loans issued with 8,193 loans for a total of UAH 12.169 billion, which is almost 84% of the limit of such guarantees issued by the bank in 2020. JSC "Oschadbank" has the second-largest amount of loans in the portfolio: 2,042 loans for a total amount of UAH 6.794 billion (89% of the limit).
The biggest demand for the program is in the Odesa region, where 936 loans of a total amount of UAH 3.068 billion were issued. In the Kirovohrad were issued 677 loans (UAH 3.039 billion), the Dnipropetrovsk region - 1,164 loans (UAH 2.724 billion), and in Kyiv - 651 loans of a UAH 2.7 billion.
The largest number of loans by type of economic activity, partially secured by state guarantees on a portfolio basis, were issued in agriculture (6,849) for UAH 29.056 billion, wholesale and retail trade (3,272) for UAH 5.195 billion, and processing industry (946) for UAH 3.166 billion.
