The French Development Agency Will Provide Ukraine with up to EUR 100 Million Concessional Loan

On November 18, the Government adopted a decree "On the implementation of state external borrowings in 2022 by attracting a loan from the French Development Agency" developed by the Ministry of Finance.

The French Development Agency has initiated providing Ukraine with a loan on concessional terms of up to EUR 100 million to finance the expenditures of the general fund of the State Budget.

The adopted resolution regulates the attraction of funds in 2022, and approves its main conditions, in particular:

- interest rate of 1.04% per annum;

- the final repayment of the loan will be in 15 years from the date of the loan agreement (taking into account the grace period for deferred repayment of the loan for 5.5 years from the date of the loan agreement).

The funds are raised following the loan agreement between Ukraine represented by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine and the French Development Agency.
