Ukraine received €1.9 billion in Pre-financing from the EU under the Ukraine Facility

The State Budget of Ukraine has received a tranche of Pre-financing in the amount of EUR 1.9 billion from the European Union. The funds are provided under the EU financial instrument Ukraine Facility.

"Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the EU has provided Ukraine with almost EUR 35 billion in direct budget support. These funds have helped to maintain macroeconomic stability and also allow us to finance priority budgetary needs. The EU is a key partner of Ukraine, which continues to play a crucial role in accelerating our victory and strengthening the country's economic resilience," said Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko.

Recently, Ukraine and the European Union signed an Agreement totaling EUR 27 billion for 2024-2027 under the Ukraine Facility.

Further tranches under the Instrument will be disbursed quarterly, subject to the performance of the indicators set out in the Ukraine Plan.
