Farmers will be Able to Obtain State Guarantees on a Portfolio Basis for the Purchase of Land

The Government has approved the Resolution "On Some Issues of State Guarantees on a Portfolio Basis".

The resolution provides for the possibility of obtaining state guarantees for credit support for the purchase of agricultural land, makes it possible to support small farmers as part of the implementation of the land reform.

Moreover, the document allows to define the mechanisms for state guarantees on a portfolio basis and establishes requirements for the selection of banks entitled to receive such guarantees. It also approves requirements for borrowers and liabilities for which lending banks can receive collateral in the form of state guarantees.

JSC "Ukreximbank" is the guarantor's agent, which functions, in particular, include checking the correctness of documents and calculations received from the lending banks.
