Oksana Markarova has been re-appointed as the Minister of Finance of Ukraine

On August 29, 2019, the Parliament of the IXth convocation re-appointed Oksana Markarova as the Minister of Finance of Ukraine. Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk made the relevant submission. The decision was supported by 281 Members of Parliament.

Oksana Markarova has been working at the Ministry of Finance since 2015. In March 2015, she was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Head of the Ministry of Finance, and in April 2016 - First Deputy Minister of Finance. On June 8, 2018, she was appointed as acting Minister of Finance of Ukraine, and on November 22, 2018, Parliament supported her candidacy for the post of Minister of Finance. On August 29, 2019, the previous government resigned in the face of the newly elected Parliament.
