Ukraine Received EUR 200 million Grant from Germany to Support IDPs

The State Budget of Ukraine received a grant of EUR 200 million from the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW).

The grant funds were provided by the Government of Germany in the framework of the Internally displaced person (IDPs) Stability Support Program in Ukraine.

The funds will be used to cover the expenditures of the general fund of the State Budget for the assistance payments of residence to IDPs.

Additional Information

The IDPs Stability Support Program in Ukraine funded by KfW aims to mitigate the negative impact on the residence conditions of IDPs during the war of russia against Ukraine. The aim of the Programme is to strengthen the capacity of the Government of Ukraine to provide adequate support to IDPs, whose official number has increased significantly since the start of the war.
