Ukraine Received EUR 150 Million from KfW to Finance Social Expenditures

Today, Ukraine's state budget received EUR 150 million from a loan issued by the KfW.

This loan was provided as co-financing of Additional Financing of the Development Policy Loan in the Emergency Situation of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The funds will be used for social, education and health expenditures.

The loan agreement was signed by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko and the Director of KfW for Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia Olaf Tsymelko on May 24, 2022.

In accordance with the terms of the Agreement, the loan is granted for a period of 15 years.
