The Ministers of Finance of Ukraine and Poland signed a Joint Declaration of Intent to Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes

Today, August 28, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko and the Minister of Finance of Poland Tadeusz Koscinsky signed a Joint Declaration on bilateral cooperation in the field of tax information exchange, in particular in the field of VAT administration and cross-border economic cooperation.

"We are ready to share experience in the field of taxation to achieve common goals in the fight against tax fraud and prevent attempts to avoid taxation," said Sergei Marchenko during the meeting.

The implementation of this agreement will contribute in strengthening administrative cooperation between countries, including the exchange of tax information, knowledge and new technologies, joint activities at the border as a crucial tool for effective combating VAT fraud. Such cooperation will significantly increase the security of Polish and Ukrainian citizens and entrepreneurs, as well as a steady increase in budget revenues.
