Executive Director of EBA Anna Derevyanko: "The European Business Association is in favor of fiscalization and we support the Ministry of Finance in this"

The Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko met with the Executive Director of the European Business Association (EBA) Anna Derevyanko and representatives of EBA member companies.

"The European Business Association is in favor of fiscalization, and we support the Ministry of Finance in this. Our position does not change", said Anna Derevyanko at the meeting.

First of all, the participants of the meeting paid attention to the discussion of draft Law No 5600, which amends the tax legislation.

"Draft Law No 5600 is the initiative of the Ministry of Finance, supported by the President of Ukraine. We have chosen the way to eliminate several legislative gaps to create a fair tax environment for business, "- said Sergii Marchenko.

"The Ministry of Finance is always on the side of the business. If changes at the legislative level are necessary for fair tax and customs policy, we are ready to listen to the opinion of business, and support these initiatives," - said the Minister of Finance.

At the meeting, representatives of the business environment raised some essential issues and expressed interest in a constructive dialogue.

Sergii Marchenko stressed that the principal position of the Ministry of Finance is the preservation of revenues to the budget, and assured of the openness of further discussions on draft Law No 5600.

Also, the participants discussed the issues of customs and tax reform.
