The Ministry of Finance is launching the project “Podatky Prosto” (“Taxes Simply Made”) aimed to simplify tax administration and tax reporting for taxpayers. On March 28, 2018, the Ministry of Finance hosted the first meeting of the working group for the simplification of tax administration. “Podatky Prosto” is the initiative of the Ministry of Finance launched to consolidate efforts in the search for solutions which would improve tax administration procedures.
In their first meeting, the members of the working group discussed the format of their further work as well as issues which will be handled by sub-groups, including the simplification of reporting procedures for:

• corporate profit tax;
• VAT;
• personal income tax;
• excise tax;
• transfer pricing;

Also, a sub-group will be designated for the general issues of tax administration and the preliminary filing of tax reports in the electronic office of a taxpayer.

The participants of the meeting agreed that it is important to extend the range of services for taxpayers which will simplify and speed up the tax reporting procedure including the preparation and submission of tax reports.

The Ministry of Finance and the State Fiscal Service will be working to implement the service for the preliminary issue of tax declarations which will make it possible to minimize the number of mistakes in tax reports and significantly reduce time consumption for taxpayers.
