IMF mission starts its work in Ukraine to begin the second review of the Stand-By Program

An IMF mission starts its work in Ukraine in February.

Meetings between representatives of the Fund and Ukraine will be held online.

"I am pleased with the decision of the International Monetary Fund to start the IMF mission to Ukraine. Cooperation with the IMF is one of our principal priorities.

We continue to carry out structural reforms and look forward to further review under the current program. IMF is our key partner in ensuring the macro-financial stability of Ukraine," commented Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko.

The purpose of the mission is to conduct the second review of the Stand-By Agreement, as a result of which Ukraine will be able to receive a tranche of USD 700 million.
