The Ministry of Finance: Participants Received Almost UAH 42 Million for the Canceled Trial External Independent Testing

As of December 1, 2020, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine jointly with JSC CB "PrivatBank" returned funds for the canceled trial EIT to 171,039 participants.

On November 30, JSC CB "PrivatBank" made the last payments to the participants of the Trial EIT-2020.

It should be noted, that the funds are paid on a non-refundable basis from the COVID-19 Response Fund, which were directed to JSC CB "PrivatBank" for reimbursement to 218,663 participants.

The amount of returned funds is UAH 41,907 million. This is 79.9% of the total amount (UAH 52,450 million).

At the same time, 47,624 persons did not use their right to return the funds and did not apply to PrivatBank.

On December 1, 2020, JSC CB "PrivatBank" returned to the state budget the rest of the funds, UAH 10 million 543 thousand, represented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

These payments were made in the period from July 1 to December 1, 2020 through branches of PrivatBank.
