Ministry of Finance Starts Forming a New Customs Service Team

The Ministry of Finance has approved a new structure and the list of staff of the State Customs Service of Ukraine (SCS). The maximum number of employees of the central office made 571 people. This step triggers the process of creating a new professional customs team. 

The development of the SCS structure took into account all priorities of the new department's activities. This made it possible to create a Department for Procedure Streamlining and Trade Facilitation, a new unit aimed to help facilitate the declaration process, develop the sphere of authorized economic operators and transit procedures, introduce automated customs control systems.

One of the priorities will also be the development of the e-CUSTOMS software and the redesign of the IT architecture of the service. The staff list stipulates that 101 persons will work in this area within the SCS.
