The International Monetary Fund has assured Ukraine of its support in every possible way

The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine continues to communicate with the International Monetary Fund on instruments to support Ukraine. All discussions are conducted remotely with the participation of staff from Washington.

In particular, the parties are exploring options for further financial support, including under the existing Stand-by cooperation program worth USD 2.2 billion. Furthermore, the Government of Ukraine has requested additional emergency financing from the IMF.

The IMF assured Ukraine of its support, and the Fund's staff will continue to work closely with the Government of Ukraine to assist our country in every possible way.

The International Monetary Fund is also working with the World Bank Group and other partners to strengthen support for Ukraine.

It should be recalled that on February 23, the IMF mission started working in Ukraine in online format.
