Ukraine will receive a loan of EUR 300 million from the French Development Agency

On March 28, 2022, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko signed an agreement with the French Development Agency of receiving a loan of EUR 300 million on concessional terms.

"I thank our French colleagues for their prompt decision. The funds are extremely important for maintaining the stability of the financial system in the conditions of a full-scale Russian invasion”, Sergii Marchenko said.

The loan is provided at a fixed interest rate of 1.04% per annum for 15 years (taking into account the grace period for deferral of loan repayment for a period of five years from the date of the loan agreement).

The funds will be used to finance the state budget of Ukraine.
