Ukraine Received EUR 495 Million of Grant Funds from the World Bank Trust Fund

Ukraine received another part of the grant funds in the amount of EUR 495 million. The funds were provided from the World Bank's Donor Trust Fund as part of the Second Loan Program for Development Policy in support of the Economic Recovery of Ukraine.

This grant was provided to Ukraine as part of the first amendments to the Donor Trust Fund Grant Agreement. As part of this agreement, the State Budget received funds from the USA (about EUR 463 million), Norway (about EUR 20.5 million) and Austria (about EUR 10 million).

These funds will be used to provide priority social, humanitarian, and healthcare expenses, as well as to support internally displaced persons.

The Trust Fund was created by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association. Denmark, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Norway, Austria and the United States have already contributed.

The next USD 500 million grant from the US is being prepared.
