Ukraine Received Grant of EUR 88.5 million from the World Bank's Trust Fund

Today, Ukraine received grant financing of EUR 88.5 million. These funds have been provided from the World Bank's Donor Trust Fund as part of the Second Development Policy Loan Program for Economic Recovery for Ukraine.

The grant funds will be directed to the general fund of the State Budget of Ukraine to ensure priority social, humanitarian, and healthcare expenditures and support for internally displaced persons.

On April 21, Minister of Finance Sergii Marchenko and World Bank Regional Director for Eastern Europe (Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine) Arup Banerji signed a grant agreement on EUR 88.5 million loan from the Trust Fund for Ukraine.

The Trust Fund was created by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association.
