Ukraine Received Grant Of EUR 1 Billion From Germany

The State Budget of Ukraine received a grant from the Federal Republic of Germany in the amount of EUR 1 billion.

Grant funds were transferred to the state budget through the Administrated Account of the International Monetary Fund.

The funds will be used to finance priority budget expenditures during martial law.

In total, since the beginning of martial law, Ukraine has already received EUR 1.3 billion from Germany to support the financial and budgetary system.

On June 24, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko and the Federal Minister of Finance of Germany Christian Lindner signed an Agreement between the Governments of Ukraine and Germany on the provision of EUR 1 billion in grant funding to Ukraine.
