Ukraine Received EUR 100 million Loan from France

Ukraine received a EUR 100 million loan on concessional terms from the French Development Agency. The funds are directed to the general fund of the State Budget to finance priority expenditures, in particular social and humanitarian.

"We appreciate France's contribution to maintaining the stability of Ukraine's financial system, as well as its willingness to support our state in a face of russian aggression. Financial assistance to Ukraine today is an investment in a peaceful future on the European continent," said Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko.

The loan is provided on concessional terms: the interest rate is 1.04% per annum, and the final repayment of the loan is carried out 15 years from the date of the loan agreement (taking into account the grace period for deferring loan repayment for a period of more than 5 years from the date of the loan agreement).

The total amount of direct budget support from France since February 24, 2022 reaches USD 432 million.
