Ukrainian Startup Fund provides the first grants to innovational entrepreneurs

On the 21st of February 2020 The Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF) provided first 8 grants. Six innovational projects received $50 thousand. Two other projects received $25 thousand.

The first winners are the following:

BioBin – a mobile app designed to cut pollution through better management of consumption and waste.
Pytag – platform designed for trading grain. The project uses unique algorythms to analyze all the available data about the grain markets in order to find the best solutions for traders.
GeoDesign – analytical online platform that provides information about the risks of starting a shop or a cafeteria in different locations.
FRAMIORE – Ukrainian brand of sustainable women`s clothes with its own production and R&D centers.
Pravomen – automatized assistant that helps in figuring out simple legal issues. This service uses e-resources already provided by the state in order to give advice and help in preparing official documents.
FieldBI – an analytical system that provides solutions for agricultural land management.
BIOC – a technology that allows production of biocompound (bioplastic).
AeroDrone is a project that provides complex solutions using high cargo capacity drones in order to complete various tasks.

The Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF) is state-funded. It was created by the government's incentive in order to support innovational projects and to help talented Ukrainian enterpreneurs to create successful companies. The USF launched the first open call for applications in December 2019. Since that time the Fund received more than 1200 applications.
