The Government has terminated early the powers of the Chair of the Supervisory Board of JSC Sense Bank

On 21 August, the Government adopted a decision to terminate early the powers of Chair of the Supervisory Board of JSC Sense BankMykola Hladyshenko.

Under the Law of Ukraine “On Banks and Banking”, the powers of an independent member of the supervisory board of a state-owned bank may be terminated early by the Government if the National Bank of Ukraine determines, in the course of banking supervision, that such independent member does not meet the applicable qualification requirements.

The National Bank of Ukraine submitted the relevant information to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 20 August 2026, which served as the basis for the Government’s decision.
