The Ukrainian government received EUR 11.5 million of budget support from the EU

Ukraine has received the fourth tranche from the European Commission in the amount of EUR 11.5 million under the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the European Union on financing the program "Support to Comprehensive Public Administration Reform in Ukraine" (concluded on December 19, 2016).

These funds were allocated to Ukraine on a non-refundable basis. The resources will be directed at financing the expenditures of the general fund of the state budget.

The obtaining of the financial resource became possible with the implementation of the general conditions for receiving funds by the Government of Ukraine, including:

1) ensuring sufficient progress in the implementation of the Public Administration Reform Strategy;
2) implementation of reasonable macroeconomic policy focused on stability;
3) progress in the implementation of the revised Strategy for the development of the public financial management system;
4) progress of public access to timely, complete, and high-quality budget information.
