Following the request of Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danylyuk, the Government designates his new deputy

On May 27, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine designated Sergiy Marchenko as a Deputy Minister of Finance upon request of Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danylyuk.

Sergiy Marchenko is an expert in fiscal decentralization, budget process and tax policy – he has a 10-year experience in these areas and participated actively in the elaboration and implementation of relevant reforms.

“I am happy to congratulate Sergiy Marchenko with his assignment as a Deputy Minister of Finance. I am very glad that the team of our Ministry was joined by a first-class specialist who has a systemic view of the reform process. I am convinced that our team will be ever stronger now and the experience and expertise of Sergiy Marchenko will be useful for our country on its way of reforms”, Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danylyuk said.

The Ministry of Finance welcomes this decision of the Government and is grateful for support in building up a team of like-minded experts and experienced managers at the Ministry of Finance who will help implement the reforms needed for the country rapidly and effectively.
